    Abstract:

Abstract: It is gradually recognized that host specificity and pathogenicity of influenza A virus could also be affected by proteins other than hemagglutinin (HA) due to its polygenic nature. In this review, detailed description was focused mainly on neuraminidase (NA), polymerase basic protein 2 (PB2) and nonstructural protein 1 (NS1), especially their molecular determinants associated with virulence and host range restriction of influenza A virus.
